S1818-2 Premium UHMW Outrigger Pad
An 18″ × 18″, 2″ thick Premium UHMW outrigger pad with ergonomic through-hole handles and a removable lifting lanyard rated to 1,900 lb.
Premium UHMW Outrigger Pads
Rope handles sit at ground level, are held on with basic hardware, and were never meant to be lifted from. Premium UHMW pads replace them with ergonomic through-hole handles and a removable lifting lanyard rated to 1,900 lb, so your crew can move every pad more safely.
Every setup starts with someone picking up a pad. How they grip it matters.
Grip sits at ground level (NIOSH V = 0″)
Secured to the pad with basic hardware
Worn handles mean buying and installing replacement kits
Not a rated lifting point
Grip sits 22″ off the ground for better posture (NIOSH V = 22″)
Handles built into the pad, with nothing to bolt on or replace
Removable lanyard rated to 1,900 lb for hand and crane lifting
Lowers your NIOSH lift index
What is NIOSH V? How high your hands are when a lift begins. Ground level strains the back most, and the closer to 30 inches, the better.

Premium UHMW pads build the handles into the pad itself. Through-hole grips give your crew a secure, natural hand position, with no rope to wear out and no hardware to work loose.
When a pad is too heavy to carry comfortably, and our largest Premium pads weigh up to 284 lb, the removable lifting lanyard lets you move it with a crane or other lifting equipment instead. It’s rated to 1,900 lb for both hand and crane lifting.
Built into the pad for a secure, natural grip. Nothing to fray, loosen, or replace.
A removable lanyard with a 1,900 lb capacity, rated for hand and crane lifting.
Track your pad inventory automatically and pull up product data from your phone.
Our Premium design is built to last, and we stand behind it.
Every Premium pad has embedded RFID and NFC chips. Scan one with your phone to pull up its product data sheet, or use the chips to track your inventory automatically.
Material Test Reports and material data sheets are available for every pad, so the material is never a mystery.
If your pad supplier can’t tell you what your pads are made of, it’s worth asking why.
Add the magnetic option and the pad stays attached to the outrigger as it moves into position. Your crew isn’t lifting and resetting the pad at every setup, and a little downward foot pressure releases it when you’re done.
It makes the biggest difference on larger, heavier pads, where every lift you skip counts.
Aluminum floats? No problem. Add our adaptor plate and the magnetic option works for you too.
Available on every Premium pad. Just check “Add Magnetic Option” when you add a pad to your quote. Learn more about magnetic pads →
