Magnetic Outrigger Pad
Can I Use Raptor Tech Magnetic Outrigger Pads if My Crane Foot Is Aluminum?
Yes, even if your crane foot is aluminum or another non-magnetic material, you can still use our Magnetic Outrigger Pads. For any non-magnetic jack or float, you can utilize our magnetic adapter plate, which attaches to the crane jack, allowing for pad usage.
How Do I Remove the Magnetic Outrigger Pad From My Crane Foot?
Our Magnetic Outrigger Pads are easy and safe to remove. When the crane jack is retracted, the crane pad can be removed by applying foot pressure to the outrigger pad.
How Do Magnetic Outrigger Pads Improve Safety?
Raptor Tech’s Magnetic Outrigger Pads save time, money, and most importantly, provide a safer work environment by reducing the amount of weight employees are lifting per day.
For example, our R48-2 outrigger pad weighs 123 lbs. Each time the crane moves, a crew member must manually handle all four pads, totaling 492 lbs per move. If the crane moves six times after the initial setup, the weight would add up to an extra 2,950 lbs manually lifted by a single employee per day.
By switching to our Magnetic Outrigger Pads, employees only handle pads during initial setup and at job completion, significantly reducing the amount of weight employees handle per day and lowering the risk of injury.
