In March of 2023, we released our first line of outrigger pads as a complement to our Steel Crane Mats. Over the last year, we have added two additional models to our outrigger pad product line. 

Each design features embedded RFID and NFC technology and a different pad design to meet the needs of each customer.

Economy Outrigger Pads 

Raptor Tech’s Economy line is the most cost-effective pad we offer. Like other outrigger pad manufacturers, our Economy Outrigger Pads have a circular design with opposing rope handles.  

This line of outrigger pads features embedded RFID and NFC technology for easier inventory tracking and 100% full product transparency. All product data is accessible via smartphone!  

Premium Outrigger Pads 

Our Premium line of outrigger pads features an ergonomically built-in handle, along with embedded RFID and NFC technology.  

The built-in handles were designed specifically to eliminate a common issue with other brands’ outrigger pads – handle breakage.  

Our Premium Outrigger Pad line also includes a removable yellow lifting lanyard with a capacity rating for hand and crane lifting. With built-in handles and an additional lifting lanyard, our Premium Outrigger Pads are easier and safer to handle manually. Our strategic design also eliminates the risk of pad breakage when moving pads with your crane.  

Area Plus® Outrigger Pads 

The most advanced outrigger pad we offer is our Area Plus® Outrigger Pad.    

Our Area Plus® line includes all the loved features of our Premium Outrigger Pads, like built-in ergonomic handles, a yellow lifting lanyard, embedded RFID and NFC technology, and more.  

What makes our Area Plus® Outrigger Pads more advanced than any other outrigger pad is the contoured edge. We designed this line of outrigger pads for better roll control on the job. The contoured edge provides the operator with better control when manually rolling pads on the jobsite.  

Not only does it make it easier, but the scalloped edge also makes moving outrigger pads safer – no runway pads, less physical strain, and a reduction in employee fatigue. 

Why Do All Three Models Feature RFID and NFC Technology? 

All three outrigger pad designs have embedded RFID and NFC technology to provide our customers with 100% product transparency. As a company, we believe in withholding no information from our customers, especially when safety is involved. No matter which pads you choose, you will have access to information that matters.  

The embedded technology allows us to include important product information in our pads so you can access information like manufacturing date, material certifications showing proof of material origin and certification of quality, along with other important product information.  

The embedded chip also gives our customers an easier way to keep track of inventory internally and while out on the job. 

We make accessing this information easy! If you are an Android user, all you need to do is place your phone near the outrigger pad label. For iPhone users, an RFID and NFC app is required to access this information (our team uses NFC Tools).
